Let's start with the our birthday outing. We haven't really had a "big" party for Owen since his first birthday. We have kept it very small since then for two reasons - one, now that we are out of state from all of our family, we can't really have a big family party. Two - I don't really want to invite a lot of kids yet as we just switched daycares and he just started school. I don't even know who the kids are in his class yet and don't know how to get ahold of the few he mentions ALOT. So instead, we invited some family friends and their kids to go to Jump Zone for us. This place was great for Owen - it had inflatable slides that you could run from one to the next without really having to wait much. We got some pizza and he even got his first set of darts!
Then we got to have cake - he really wanted an ice cream cake like Mommy had for her birthday. So we ordered one and he picked things - he wanted chocolate cake with white ice cream with cookies, fudge and chocolate chips mixed in. Then, we needed blue frosting - here it is!
