We didn't make this decision lightly - a pet is a big deal and a big responsibility. Owen and I visited a couple of pets at a shelter by the library and he seemed to be doing pretty well with the cats but was a bit inimated by the dogs.
So far things have been going well - Sookie has been a pretty good kitty. She has had no accidents, is eating well, and hasn't make a mess of things. In addition, she is using the cardboard scratcher that we bought her. All in all, a good girl!
